Voki

Voki is a free consumer app that allows users to create and customize a speaking avatar that they can personalize and use to interact with others online. Voki allows users to create their own animated characters and add their own message in their own voice for next-generation self-expression, communication and user-user interaction. These messages can then be placed on MySpace, blogs, websites, emailed to friends and even sent to mobile phones.The Voki platform also allows users to connect with each other in interactive environments called playgrounds where they can use their voice-enabled avatars to comment, rate, vote and create messages on specified topics of interest.
